District Youth Referees of the Year

"The two young referees pictured here with District Youth Referee Administrator Larry Svetich are Trever Cox and Ashley Newton. Both were selected by Larry and the District Selection Committee (Don Spickelmier, Moe Shafai and Mark Lloret) as the District Youth Referee of the Year, Male and Female. Ashley represents Elk Grove Youth Soccer League and Trever represents American River Youth Soccer League. In addition to being selected as the District representative, Trever was also selected as the State Male Youth Referee of the Year!!

Both Trever and Ashley have represented our district very well at State events. What a great honor for both. Congratulations! ! And, a special congratulations to Trever on his selection as the State Youth Referee. District 6 is proud to have you represent us.
